Our Mission

To be the most accessible resource for essentials and support for foster families.

Finances should not limit your heart for foster care.

Bright Sky in Action: Providing Essentials and Support

We fulfill our mission by accepting requests for essential items from foster families and caseworkers on our website, purchasing new essentials, and shipping them directly to homes. We provide new beds, cribs, car seats, clothing, toiletries, and more to foster and kinship children in need, reducing the financial burden on foster parents and offering security to children who have experienced trauma and upheaval.

Since 2018, our Bright Sky team has run our Foster Care Essentials program to provide foster parents with the necessary items to ensure their children feel safe, comfortable, and loved. We want to show these children that not only their families but also their community cares for them. We believe caring for orphans and widows is God's command, and this ministry is our way of embracing this message.

Through the generosity of our community, Bright Sky has assisted over 4,000 children and counting.
